About Mira Duma
Miroslava Duma is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and investor. Born to a Ukrainian father and Jewish-Ukrainian mother in Siberia, she spent her childhood between Switzerland, the U.S., and other parts of Europe.
While Miroslava has co-founded several innovative ventures, including Buro 24/7, Future Tech Lab, The Tot, and Pangaia Materials Science, she is also an active advisor across a range of businesses. Her professional efforts focus on responsible production and consumption as well as climate action, particularly in the industries of materials science, biotechnology, food-as-medicine technology, and responsible fashion.
Duma was recognised in 2018 as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum for her professional accomplishments, commitment to society, and potential to contribute to shaping the world’s future through leadership.
She travels to research labs and institutions across the globe building and developing partnerships with scientists, researchers, and biotechnology pioneers predominantly in Italy, Japan, South Korea, the UK and the US. Miroslava connects these innovators with companies across multiple industries to bring their problem-solving technologies to market.
